We aren’t fond of being called “vendors” by anyone. That’s why at Scout, we refer to the companies and freelancers we work with as partners. No one company can be good at everything, so we look to our partners who are excellent at what they do to work along side us. We like to forge long-term relationships built on respect and great work.

Invoicing
We will no longer be able to accept invoices that are sent via email. Why is that? Doesn’t it save trees to send PDFs? Yes it does save trees. But we’ve found that it can also have the unintended effect of delaying payments to our partners.

Here’s the issue: All of the emailed invoices sent to us need to be printed and entered into our accounting system to be paid. 95% of the time, that happens without a hitch. But the other 5% of the time, invoices get lost down in that part of a person’s email that hardly anyone revisits.

So, in the interest getting paid on time, the best bet is to snail mail your invoices to:
